VOLK FIELD, Wis. (June 15, 2021) – Electronics Technician 1st Class Marshall Hundemer, Electronics Technician 2nd Class Amanda Yazzie, from Navy Central Command Mobile Ashore Support Team Dets A and B, and John Knorr, an infrastructure technician from Copper River Enterprise Services, install a HAM radio HF antenna on Volk Field, Wisconsin during exercise Patriot 21. The HF antenna is being tested for interoperability from amateur HAM radio operators to military HAM radios during Patriot 21. Patriot 21 is a training exercise designed for civilian emergency management and responders to work with military entities in the same manner that they would during disaster.
