VOLK FIELD, Wis. A soldier from the Illinois National Guard briefs Polish soldiers on the Joint Terminal Attack Controller evaluation process. As part of the State Partnership Program in the U.S. European Command, officers from the Polish joint terminal attack controller school observed and participated in Operation Global Patriot July 7-18, 2009. Along with conducting actual F-16 and A-10 close air support controls during the operation the officers also observed day-to-day operation of an establish U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party squadron.
