Maj Shonn C. Breton is the Operations Officer and the Chief, Standards/Evaluations, 103D Air Control Squadron, Orange Air National Guard Base, Orange Conn. Maj Breton is responsible to the Commander to ensure operations assigned personnel are trained and combat mission ready. Maj Breton provides input to unit training programs to gain and maintain maximum capability to employ available resources.
Maj Breton enlisted December 1987 and graduated Meteorological Apprentice technical training May 1988. Maj Breton graduated from Lakeland College and received his commission from the Academy of Military Science in 2007. The Maj has over 32 years of service in the Air Force and Air National Guard. Maj Breton spent two years at Schwaebisch Hall Germany and fifteen years at Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) in Wisconsin. Prior to his current assignment, the Major was the Chief of Weapons and Tactics, 103D Air Control Squadron, Orange Air National Guard Base, Orange Conn.
Maj Breton has eight contingency deployments while supporting operations in three different locations in Southwest Asia and South America.
